SMALL GROUPS

Small Groups are the life of our church community and an important key to our growth as individuals. If you only attend Sunday services, you may attend for months and not really get to know many people - that's just how it works in larger gatherings. Our groups are designed to help you make new friends, apply the Bible to your life, and receive the support and encouragement that we all need. We think you'll find them casual, fun, and relevant.

WHAT IS A DISCIPLESHIP COMMUNITY?
You can think of the Discipleship Communities (DCs) as smaller churches inside the larger church. Each is comprised of the Small Groups that meet on that particular week night. DCs gather together once a month typically during the first full week of the month on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights for an evening service starting at 6:30PM. If your Small Group meeets on Tuesday nights, then you're a part of the Tuesday Night DC and would go to the DC gathering during the first week of the month instead of your normal Small Group gathering. If you're in a Wednesday Small Group, that makes you a member of the Wednesday DC, etc.
Each DC has its own pastor who is responsible for teaching and preaching at the DC gathering and who is also responsible for developing the small group leaders within each Discipleship Community. Ben Erickson leads our Tuesday Night DC, Justin Major for our Wednesday Night DC, and Brandon Fleer for Thursday Night DC. We take the Lord's Supper at each of our monthly DC gatherings.
